To begin troubleshooting, I would start by verifying the VPN configuration settings on the client side, the VPN server side and the network infrastructure. This includes making sure that the encryption type, authentication type, VPN protocols, and other settings are all configured correctly. I would also verify that the client can access the VPN server and the resources behind it.
If the VPN configuration is correct, I would then move to the network infrastructure. I would check the router and firewall configurations to ensure that the necessary ports and protocols are allowed through the network. I would also check to make sure that the network is configured properly and that there are no issues with the DHCP server or domain name resolution.
