Job Description VoIP/Network Engineer - Expert This position requires an active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Cherokee Preting is seeking a Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) Engineer to work as part of a collaborative, multidiscipline team in support of U.S.

Government and provide technical expertise in the field of network engineering and VoIP.

The VoIP Engineer shall possess a mix of technical skills in networking (TCP/IP, QoS, LAN/WAN), VoIP protocols (SIP, RTP, H.323), and platforms (Cisco, Asterisk, 3CX), alongside soft skills like problem-solving, communication, and troubleshooting using tools like Wireshark for complex call routing, security (SBCs, TLS), and cloud integration to design, implement, and maintain voice systems.

VoIP/Network Engineer - Expert Responsibilities Include Design and implement Local and Wide Area Networks (LAN/WAN) Configure and trouble-shoot LAN Switches, Routers, and Firewalls and VPN concentrators.

Convey technical designs, ideas and results to non-technical audiences and provide briefings to high-level government personnel.
