Description
Location: Washington, DC (Onsite, 5 days/week) Start Date: January 19, 2026 Duration: 6 months, with possibility of extension About the Role The Storage IPv6 Administrator will administer, maintain, and support storage systems within an IPv6‑enabled network.
You will ensure performance, security, availability, and effective IPv6 configurations across SAN/NAS/DAS environments, handling backup, recovery, and performance monitoring to meet mission needs.
Key Responsibilities Configure and manage storage systems (SAN, NAS, Direct Attached Storage) for high availability and performance.
Implement and manage backups and execute disaster recovery procedures to protect data integrity.
Monitor storage capacity, health, and performance metrics; identify and resolve bottlenecks proactively.
Configure storage technologies for IPv6 (and IPv4) communication; troubleshoot IPv6‑related storage issues.
Must‑Have Qualifications 5+ years providing storage solutions engineering support, including storage management, administration, and maintenance (e.g., SAN/NAS) to ensure high availability and performance.
Demonstrated ability to monitor storage capacity, health, and performance and address issues promptly.
