Under the direction of the Speech Director/Division Chair, the Speech-Language Pathologist IV will be responsible to evaluate speech/language of children and provide remediation for children with communication disorders.
Minimum Education Master's Degree - Speech Language Pathology - Required Minimum Work Experience 4 years of experience as Speech Language Pathologist Required Licenses Speech-Language Pathologist Must be licensed in Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and state licensure Required Skills/Knowledge Demonstrated flexibility in the evaluation process.
Shows knowledge of counseling techniques.
Shows empathy and caring.
Demonstrates knowledge of theoretical application.
Demonstrates knowledge of clutural and linguistic diversity.
Must be available for student/trainee to shadow daily responsibilities.
