Software Test Engineer at Sutherland
Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Manual Test Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in web application testing .
The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of software testing fundamentals , various types of testing , and hands-on experience in identifying test scenarios from the user story, writing test cases , defect reporting and tracking .
This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about quality and eager to grow in a fast-paced delivery environment.
✅ Key Responsibilities Analyze business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories .
Design, write, and execute manual test cases and test scenarios for web applications Perform various types of testing including: Smoke Testing Sanity Testing Functional Testing Regression Testing UI & Usability Testing Execute test cases and document test results clearly .
Identify, log, and track defects using tools such as Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, or similar .
Perform re-testing and regression testing after defect fixes.
Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and senior QA engineers .
