Key About Your Role As a Senior Technical Application Engineer in the Lifetime TAM team, you are one of the key experts responsible for the stability, security and performance of the Lifetime platform for multiple Life & Pension customers.

In this senior role you: Take ownership of complex incidents and problems on the Lifetime platform, acting as a technical escalation point for colleagues and stakeholders.

Guard and improve platform uptime and resilience, implementing structural fixes and preventive measures for issues such as disk capacity problems, CPU bottlenecks and Tomcat outages.

Design, plan and execute patching and upgrade cycles for the underlying technology stack (Windows Server, Oracle, SQL Server, Tomcat and related components), balancing risk, downtime and compliance requirements.
