Senior Life Sciences Cloud Architect W2 Contract Pay Rate: $125 - $150 per hour Location: Redwood City, CA - Remote Role Job Summary: Serve as the senior technical authority for evolving a v1 AWS and Databricks R&D data platform into a scalable, strategy-aligned environment supporting mixed exploratory and GxP-capable workloads.

The platform is deployed but early in maturity, with significant opportunity to define coherent data architecture, risk-tiering, and validation-ready design.

Duties and Responsibilities: Assess and validate the current v1 AWS and Databricks architecture.

Define target-state architecture aligned to enterprise data strategy.

Establish risk-tiering across exploratory, GxP-capable, blinded, and IP-sensitive domains.

Define system boundaries and validation-aligned design principles.

Architect segregation models for accounts, workspaces, and access controls.

Partner with CloudOps to define admin, monitoring, and audit patterns.
