Description

RouteSmart Technologies, a leader in vehicle route optimization software technology, is seeking a Senior Database Administrator to join our Product Development team.

This role reports directly to the DBA Team Lead and is responsible for managing PostgreSQL databases throughout development and production lifecycles in an AWS environment.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in PostgreSQL architecture, AWS RDS/Aurora, and database performance optimization.

This position also serves as a backup to the DBA Team Lead, making technical decisions in their absence to ensure continuity and stability in database operations.

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be $120,000-$130,000 per year, depending on experience and location.

RouteSmart Technologies has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the U.S.

This is ideally a hybrid role.

Candidates must be able to commute to the office in Melville, NY or Columbia, MD.
