Description

The Washington Commanders are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Finance team.

This individual will play a key role in supporting the financial operations of the organization by performing a variety of accounting functions.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, experience with month-end close processes, tax accounting, non-profit foundation accounting, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities Perform general ledger activities, including journal entries, financial statement preparation, and month-end close processes.

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings.

Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.

Manage and maintain the Corporate Card Program.

Oversee the Travel & Entertainment and Invoicing System, including employee onboarding and offboarding, chart of accounts updates, and generating and managing reports.
