Description

Oscar de la Renta is hiring a Senior Accountant with approximately 5+ years related experience to join our Accounting/Finance team.

Based in midtown Manhattan in our corporate office, the Staff Accountant participates in all function based accounting activities including performing all month-end close items and reconciles balance sheets.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (including but not limited to): Responsible for various function-based accounting activities (e.g.

revenue deferrals, recording of legal expense, marketing, etc.).

Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.

Completes month-end close duties accurately and timely (e.g.

recording / approving journal entries, performing variance analysis, etc.).

Interacts with accounting partners in multiple countries Prepares/reviews reconciliations for various balance sheet accounts.
