As a sustainability specialist at the Senior Associate level, you will play a key role in supporting clients on their sustainability journey, helping them realise commercial value from taking action on sustainability impacts, risks and opportunities.

What success looks like at the Senior Associate level: Ability to balance working independently under minimal supervision, seeking coaching and consulting internally where needed Confident client communications Taking ownership of quality and timely deliverables Sound judgement and quality assurance Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Requirements: Honours degree or diploma in a sustainability related field 3+ years relevant sustainability/ESG experience Experience across the Essential/Core ESG Skills and as many Advantageous ESG Skills as possible (please list all key ones in your application with details of your experience against each) Essential / Core ESG Skills: Critical thinking and problem solving Working experience of identifying key sustainability drivers of value for different industries, and ability to identify commercial impact of investment in sustainability Working experience in basic modelling and analytics using common analytical tools and PwC solutions (Excel, Alteryx, PowerBI, etc.) to support sustainability insights Working experience in data research and ability to handle, interpret and synthesize ESG data effectively Working experience in any of the following AI tools - for e.g.

ChatGPT E, Microsoft Copilot and Harvey Working experience in preparing for client or third-party workshops/interviews and other stakeholder engagement activities Working experience in basic project management tasks (budget tracking, project plan creation, and management, etc.) Ability to prioritise, manage time effectively, and coordinate across teams Advantageous Skills (please identify all the skill areas you have experience with): Strategy Experience in performing ESG materiality assessments Experience in developing ESG/Sustainability strategies underpinned by analysis to demonstrate the commercial business rationale Climate / environmental Knowledge of and working experience in implementing GHG footprinting protocols and frameworks (e.g.

GHG Protocol, SBTi) Understanding of climate risks (physical and transition) and scenarios; working experience in quantitative scenario analysis/risk assessments (e.g.

Applying NGFS & IEA scenarios) Basic understanding of supply chain related elements of carbon/climate risk projects Basic interest in renewable energy / any experience with renewable energy projects, solar or wind generation, Power Purchase Agreements, Renewable Energy Certificates, batteries, etc.
