Potomac Street Hagerstown, MD 21740 Main Purpose of Job Supervision and management of a Child Welfare Team involves planning, managing, directing, training, monitoring, and evaluating the activities of professional and paraprofessional staff that provide Child Protective Services, Mental Health Services, and other Child Welfare Services.
Significant efforts are directed toward assuring the safety of children, preserving and strengthening families, remedying the conditions that may contribute to abuse and neglect of children, developing judicious and expedient service plans for children who are served by the agency, overseeing concurrent plans when needed, and helping to assess appropriate family members.
