Robotics Engineer at The JAM L People In Robotics
Description
We’re partnering with a global robotics software and automation company that’s scaling rapidly and deploying production robotic systems across real customer warehouses and logistics environments .
The company builds cloud-native robotics platforms that power fleets of autonomous mobile robots (AMRs) in the real world—handling navigation, orchestration, perception, and large-scale deployment.
With strong commercial traction and enterprise customers already live, they’re now expanding their core on-site robotics engineering team .
This is not a research-only role.
These systems are live, deployed, and operating at scale .
🔧 Robotics Engineers – Multiple Specialties We’re intentionally open to a broad range of robotics profiles and would love to speak with engineers across the following areas: Core Robotics & Autonomy Robotics Software Engineering (C++, Python, ROS / ROS2) Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) Navigation, SLAM & Localization Motion Planning & Controls Multi-Robot Coordination & Fleet Management Perception, Sensor Fusion & 3D Vision Simulation, Testing & Validation Systems Engineering & Robot Integration Cloud Robotics & Distributed Systems If you enjoy working at the intersection of robots in the field + cloud-scale software , this team is especially keen to speak with you.
🧠 What You’ll Be Doing Designing and building production-grade robotics software used by live customer fleets Developing autonomy, navigation, and fleet-level behaviors for AMRs Working across robot-side software, cloud services, and system integration Supporting deployments from prototype → pilot → scaled production Collaborating closely with hardware, product, and customer-facing teams Helping define engineering standards and best practices as the organization scales globally ✅ What We’re Looking For 2+ years of professional experience post-graduation (industry, startup, or applied research) Strong background in robotics, autonomy, or large-scale software systems Hands-on engineering mindset — you like building things that run in the real world Comfortable in fast-moving, high-ownership environments Experience with deployed systems (warehouses, factories, logistics, or similar) is a strong plus Willingness to work on-site with a highly collaborative robotics team 🌟 Why This Opportunity? Work on real robots operating at commercial scale Be part of a company defining the future of cloud robotics and fleet autonomy See your work directly impact live customer operations Collaborate with deeply technical, mission-driven teammates Competitive compensation and strong long-term growth opportunities
