Job Title: Robotics Engineer – Japan Location: Tokyo (Japan) Language Requirement: Business-level or Fluent Japanese (JLPT N2 or above preferred) Experience Level: Mid to Senior About the Role We are seeking a talented and passionate Robotics Engineer to join our growing team in Japan.
You will be working on the design, development, and deployment of next-generation robotic systems used across industries such as manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, and automation.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced R&D environment and is excited to build real-world robotics solutions that have a tangible impact.
Key Responsibilities Design and develop robotic systems, components, and algorithms Integrate hardware and software for robotic platforms (sensors, actuators, controllers) Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, and software engineers Develop motion planning, control systems, and perception modules Conduct simulation, testing, and validation of robotic systems Support deployment and maintenance of robotics solutions in real-world environments Prepare technical documentation and reports Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Robotics, Mechatronics, Computer Science, or related fields 3+ years of experience in robotics development Proficient in C++ and/or Python Experience with ROS/ROS2 and robotic simulation tools (e.g., Gazebo, RViz) Familiarity with control systems, kinematics, and machine vision Fluent in Japanese (written & spoken) for collaboration with local teams and clients Preferred Qualifications Experience with embedded systems or real-time operating systems (RTOS) Knowledge of AI/ML integration in robotics Previous work in industrial automation or autonomous navigation Why Join Us?
