Quality Assurance (QA) Software Tester – Functional/Manual Testing Focus In this role, you will support quality assurance across Worldpac’s core automotive wholesale distribution systems, including procurement, distribution, inventory, warehouse, and supply chain platforms.

With a primary focus on functional and manual testing, you will review and validate new features, enhancements, and system updates to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and performance of software that directly impacts order accuracy, delivery execution, warranty processes, and overall customer satisfaction in a high‑volume, multi‑location environment.

You will collaborate closely with developers and product managers to design and execute comprehensive test scripts, review test automation results, and help deliver robust solutions that drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Review requirements, user stories, and specifications for new features, enhancements, and system updates across multiple business domains, including IBMi-based systems, to determine testing scope and objectives.

Design, author, and execute detailed manual test scripts and test cases to verify software functionality, usability, and performance.

Conduct functional, regression, integration, positive, negative, and edge case testing on new and existing applications, including legacy IBMi applications and modern integrated platforms.

Write and maintain comprehensive test cases; review and analyze test automation results to ensure quality standards are met.

Utilize SQL for data validation and test support, including validating data with IBMi/DB2 environments.
