QA Test Analyst at Nasdaq
Description
The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for creating, executing, and maintaining test cases and plans to ensure software components—both front-end and back-end—meet functional and performance standards.
This role involves reviewing system requirements, debugging software, reporting issues, and collaborating with development, project management, and implementation teams.
The tester may also contribute to the development of internal testing tools and specialize in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, or Process Improvement.
Conducts a range of quality control tests and analyses under direct supervision to ensure that software meets or exceeds specified standards, development specifications or client requirements.
Under direct supervision creates test data files with valid and invalid records to test program logic and verify system flow.
Is learning to collaborate with internal or external team members to plan different forms of applicable test phases and is coached to ensure that applicable test phases are successfully completed and documented and there is a plan for problem resolution.
When specializing in QA, administers and maintains the quality of products and processes, including standard procedures and quality audits/review.
Adaptability and Learning Mindset: Demonstrating a willingness to learn new technologies, tools, and methodologies is crucial.
