Description

Cherry Lane Theatre is seeking a Coordinator to support the creative team in the development of projects and future programming.

This person will be a motivated self-starter who is passionate about live entertainment and skilled in multitasking, communication, and time management.

This is a full-time in person position based in New York.

Key Responsibilities Provide administrative support for the senior management team as needed: schedule calls, meetings, and manage calendars.

Maintain and organize internal databases to track script submissions, pitches, talent availabilities, and BLA status Coordinate travel: book flights, trains, and hotels for senior management.

Manage and submit expense reports.

Support the Head of Programming in scouting new comedy, music, theater, and live events Provide constructive feedback on all forms of development materials including pitches, scripts, readings, and rehearsals Participate in creative feedback discussions with program leads, producers, and point executives Research and compile lists of tastemakers in theater, music, comedy, talk backs, and screenings Track previews and reviews of shows throughout the industry Distribute agendas and take notes for weekly meetings Qualifications 2+ years experience working in a fast-paced business environment, preferably within the entertainment or creative industries.
