Description
Hyundai Rotem is a global heavy industry company that specializes in manufacturing rolling stock, military equipment and plant engineering.
It is able to produce all types of rolling stock, including electric multiple units (EMUs), high-speed trains, engine locomotives, wireless trams and magnetic levitation (maglev) trains.
In addition, it is ushering in the new era of eco-friendly hydrogen fuel by developing trains powered by hydrogen fuel cells along with hydrogen infrastructure and hydrogen markets.
Job Responsibilities: Supervise outside processing (Consignment, visit suppliers whenever it’s needed) and arrange the logistics with forwarding/trucking company Interface with Engineering and Quality to assure supplier adherence to all technical requirements.
Work with project management to ensure efficient and consistent procurement practices through all stages of the project Monitor supplier performance and recommend modifications when necessary.
SCM activities.
Follow up issues with all relevant departments and manage team members for the best decision making and for working well with suppliers.
Enter purchasing documents to global purchasing system.
