(GRS) is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and talented individual for the position of Personnel Security Specialist.
Job Description: Summary: The Personnel Security Specialist will provide technical expertise and interpret security policy guidance.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: Serve in the Adjudicator or Sponsor role for the USAccess (HSPD-12) system in order to adjudicate or sponsor PIV card requests.
Review and evaluate reports of investigation, security files, and other material and makes a recommendation to grant, deny, revoke, or suspend clearance eligibility for national security and public trust positions.
Identify & mitigate potential security and suitability concerns as applicable.
Assist with the preparation of adjudicative memoranda to include Statement of Reasons, Letter of Intent to Deny/Revoke, Warning and Final Determination letters.
Assist with collecting and submitting documentation required for SCI nomination/adjudication.
