Job Title : Paralegal Location : Washington, DC Job Type : Full-Time Union Affiliation : Union Accountable to : Paralegal Supervisor About The Role The Paralegal will assist attorneys at the Lawyers’ Committee with general administrative support related to litigation, education, advocacy, policy projects, and other activities.

The Paralegal will be assigned primarily to one or more substantive project areas based on need and work closely with the project teams.

What You’ll Be Doing Responsibilities of the Paralegal include but are not limited to: Manage and organize case files, case dockets, litigation calendars and ECF and PACER accounts.

Review and edit filings and exhibits, including formatting, proofreading, cite-checking, and creating tables of authorities and tables of contents.

Organize discovery requests and responses, coordinate depositions, schedule meetings, and other related tasks.
