Description
Job Title: Network Administrator/ Engineer Work location: HYBRID (1 State St Plaza, New York, NY 10004) Duration of project: 30 months or longer with possible extensions Hiring Manager’s notes: Administration & Engineering experience with Enterprise firewalls.
Experience with Implementing security solutions covering Threat Prevention, URL Filtering, and SSL Decryption.
Experience with firewall management systems, Intrusion protection and prevention systems, configuring routes and encrypted tunnels between remote locations, developing and deploying BGP routing solutions, high availability network technologies and configurations.
Experience with written communications skills.
Including creating network diagrams, documenting changes and composing orders of operations for tasks.
Experience implementing and integrating network solutions based on Cisco LAN/WAN.
Experience configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, VPN).
Hands-on network experience and understanding of: Local Area Networks, Wide Area Networks, TCP/IP, switching and routing protocols.
