Description
Piper Companies is seeking a Network Engineer who will enhance the cybersecurity posture through advanced traffic analysis and optimization.
The network engineer will be onsite located in Oakton, VA .
For this opportunity, the right individual must be able to obtain or maintain a security clearance.
Requirements for the Network Engineer include: Analyze PCAP data to identify threats, anomalies, and performance issues.
Optimize monitoring tools (ExtraHop, SolarWinds, Splunk) for full visibility.
Conduct protocol-level analysis (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, SMTP, TLS, VPN).
Tune alerts, dashboards, and data feeds based on traffic sources.
Develop technical and non-technical reports with actionable insights.
