Senior Network Engineer (with Security Emphasis) Location: Hybrid (candidates need to be onsite at least 4 times in a month in San Francisco) Duration: 6 Month Contract to Hire Position Positions Summary: The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the planning, development, installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links.

This includes oversight of connections to external partners and cloud services, troubleshooting, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with network and security standards.

The ideal candidate is a self starter who operates with minimal supervision, capable of driving tasks and projects independently while maintaining high technical and security standards.

This role also supports and enhances the organization’s security posture by participating in the implementation and management of security solutions, policies, and incident response.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Network Engineering Design and recommend infrastructure improvements for network systems.

Own all network hardware and software components.

Configure routers, switches, firewalls, and network appliances.

Manage remote access solutions (VDI/VDA, VPN, RDP).
