Description
Highly stable and successful investment management firm is looking for a dedicated Network Engineer to maintain and support the firm's network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Candidates should be attentive to detail, possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, and be motivated to rapidly learn and collaborate within a close-knit technical team.
Responsibilities: Perform all network administration tasks, including managing firewall rules, switch configuration changes, periodic device patching and maintenance, and troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
Support WAN cross-connects and interconnect circuits with various counterparties, brokers, market data vendors, and cloud providers.
Manage and support the firm’s network environment of Arista switches and Fortinet firewalls, spanning one main office location, two colocation datacenters, and a variety of public cloud presences.
Support miscellaneous infrastructure, Meraki Wifi access points, remote access solutions.
Design, implement, and optimize network and security services, Fortigate and Zscaler, in the on premises or cloud deployments.
Complete scheduled operational tasks, respond to alerts or issues from monitoring solutions, Solarwinds and SIEM.
