Description
Summary Position Summary The Medical Assistant I’s role is to assure smooth clinical flow and assist healthcare clinicians and front office staff in providing medical services to participants.
The Medical Assistant I acts as a liaison between healthcare clinicians, participants, and families.
Reportability This position reports to the assigned nurse for all administrative functions.
Medical assistants work under the license of the assigned medical provider for clinical functions.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
Acts as a member of the care team to support co-workers and ensure patient needs are met.
Participates in daily huddles.
Performs and documents screening procedures for completion of health evaluations, e.g.
