Description

As a Marketing Intern, you will work closely with the central marketing team on digital marketing, social media, hyperlocal brand activations, and in-store campaigns.

This role offers end-to-end exposure to how marketing actually works in a large retail brand—from Instagram content to society activations to store-level execution.

This is a high-ownership, hands-on role, not a desk-only internship.

Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include Digital & Social Media Marketing Assist in planning and executing monthly content calendars for Spencer’s social platforms Support creation of content ideas (Reels, stories, static posts) aligned to campaigns Coordinate with designers and agencies for timely creative delivery Track performance metrics like reach, engagement, CTR, and flag key trends Brand & Hyperlocal Marketing Support catchment-level marketing activities around Spencers stores Assist in society, RWA, and apartment-level outreach initiatives Help execute leafleting, canopy activities, sampling drives, and local branding Work on hyperlocal content customised for specific neighbourhoods Campaign & Activation Support Support seasonal campaigns, festivals, and store-level promotions Assist in in-store branding rollout (posters, tent cards, danglers, POSM) Coordinate with store teams for smooth on-ground execution Help with small-scale events like food festivals, weekend activations, and launches Influencer & Community Support Assist in scouting micro/nano influencers for local collaborations Help with influencer briefs, coordination, and deliverable tracking Support community engagement initiatives and CRM-driven outreach Reporting & Insights Maintain simple performance trackers for digital and on-ground campaigns Support weekly reports on content performance, activations, and learnings Track basic metrics like coupon redemption, footfall response, engagement Assist in competitor benchmarking and trend spotting About Company: Spencer's Retail Limited, part of RP Sanjiv Goenka Group, is a multi-format retailer providing a wide range of quality products across categories such as food, personal care, fashion, home essentials, electrical and electronics to its key consumers.
