About The Role In building and scaling our business in Japan, we have established a number of partnerships with key industry players including operators and consumer electronics manufacturers that help us deliver our service worldwide in a consumer-friendly way.

These partnerships have been essential to accelerating Netflix’s expansion in Japan.

The partnerships also play a critical role in contributing to the broader growth of the business in the market, building the groundwork for executing Netflix’s strategy for future business growth.

You will join the team in Japan and will be primarily focused on leading strategic partnerships with our local operators, global consumer electronics, and partner prospects.

You will build and maintain partner relations, form the strategic roadmap for these partnerships, negotiate and execute commercial deals, and work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation and maintenance of these partnerships.

This person will have a high degree of visibility with senior leadership of Netflix management who closely are associated with the strategic partnerships we build and maintain with global consumer electronics manufacturers and large-size operators, for the success of Netflix’s business expansion strategy Responsibilities You will manage relationships with operators and consumer electronics manufacturers across Japan to ensure we get the most out of these partnerships in terms of maximizing viewing for our members and winning new members in an efficient manner.
