Job Description Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global technology and data company that builds verification, optimization, and analytics solutions for the advertising industry and we’re looking for an ML intern to join our Data Science team.

If you are excited by technology that has the power to handle hundreds of thousands of transactions per second; collect tens of billions of events each day; and evaluate thousands of data-points in real-time all while responding in just a few milliseconds, then IAS is the place for you! As an ML Intern, you will contribute to the development of scalable techniques for tracking the evolution of clusters in high-dimensional embedding spaces.

This project focuses on online clustering algorithms that can operate efficiently at large scale, with applications in understanding dynamic patterns in embeddings over time.

This internship provides a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of unsupervised learning, representation learning, and large-scale systems.

What You’ll Get To Do Explore and implement online clustering algorithms suited for embedding data (e.g., from image, text, or multimodal models).

Develop pipelines to track and visualize the temporal evolution of clusters across streaming or periodically updated datasets.

Investigate state-of-the-art clustering and representation tracking methods (e.g., streaming k-means, incremental DBSCAN, vector quantization).

Design and run experiments to benchmark clustering stability, scalability, and interpretability.
