Description

We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer (VP) to support critical consumer banking platforms within a large‑scale, regulated financial services environment.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on technical leader who builds secure, resilient, cloud‑native services and guides a small engineering team delivering high‑volume, customer‑facing capabilities.

Key Responsibilities Lead and mentor a team of 6-8 engineers, providing technical leadership and ensuring consistent, high‑quality delivery.

Design and develop Java/Spring Boot microservices on AWS, leveraging containerized and event‑driven architectures.

Write, review, and debug production‑grade code across distributed systems with a strong focus on security and stability.

Architect for availability, resiliency, and performance, automating remediation of recurring operational issues.

Implement and evolve CI/CD pipelines and agile engineering practices.

Own observability and runtime health using Splunk and Grafana dashboards and alerts.
