Tax modernization is a multi-year project focused on modernizing the IT infrastructure and applications for the NYS tax department.
One of the key components of that is modernizing the runtime platforms and processes to a more support environment as many of our existing platforms are falling off of industry support.
Duties The selected candidate will work on the Enterprise Architecture platform team as a lead for integrating applications to software platforms.
Tasks performed are but not limited to: Guide the platform architecture and design sessions and ensure technical solutions are aligned with agency’s strategic direction.
