Job Description Metro Trains Sydney is seeking an experienced, visionary Head of Operations to provide strategic leadership within our Operations Control Centre (OCC) and drive excellence in delivering reliable, safe, and customer-focused train services.
As we prepare to revolutionise travel through to Southwest (SW) Sydney with 11 upgraded stations between Sydenham and Bankstown set to open as part of the expansion, this critical leadership role will take on the challenge of leading our existing operational footprint in the Northwest and City between Tallawong and Sydenham coupled with driving operational readiness activities for the new Southwest line.
About The Role As Head of Operations, you will be a pivotal senior leader in shaping the future of Sydney’s metro rail network by: Establishing yourself as a strategic leader in the business, supporting the Executive Leadership Team to deliver MTS goals and objectives and collaborating as a key player in the Operations and Customer Experience team to deliver best-for-business outcomes.
Aligning day-to-day operations with strategic business objectives and contractual KPI commitments, continuing to deliver our strong track record of operational excellence across the network.
