Description
Job Title: Hardware Installation Technician (Level I) Location: Washington, DC Job Type: Full-Time Target Salary Range*: $40,000-$42,000 This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and/or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salary Key Responsibilities Perform installation, and support of new Windows based computer systems.
Install Image and software on laptops and workstation Prepare the computers for deployments and support the deployment activities Assist with the installation and support of computer systems and peripherals.
Coordinates with Management for inventory, hardware orders, equipment movement, and shipping needs.
Assist in assuring that work products comply with established deliverable guidelines including format and content.
Assist in the development of documentation based on the customer's processes.
Travel to customer sites and perform deployment activities to include, site surveys, installs hardware, install software, remove hardware, check hardware for shipment etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Education : HS + 2 Years of experience in Information Technology Experience Deploying/Installing Hardware, Software, Workstations, monitors, etc.
