About Loombotic Loombotic is a YC-backed manufacturing startup changing how complex manufacturing is done.

We move fast, and we’re looking for a driven Hardware Engineer Intern to help us design, build, and deploy robotic machinery and custom automation that powers our factory floor.

What you’ll be doing As a hardware engineer, you will work with our core engineering team to design, prototype, and deploy custom automated machinery and electromechanical fixtures from the ground up.

You will bring 3D CAD models to life by integrating precision components like stepper motors, linear actuators, and sensor networks.

A major part of your role will involve rapidly prototyping electromechanical systems to prove out new automation concepts and resolve production bottlenecks.

Finally, you will build, test, and rigorously validate these mechanical assemblies to ensure their reliability on the production floor.

Who we’re looking for Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Proficient in 3D CAD (SolidWorks, OnShape, etc.) with a strong drive to see your designs manufactured.
