Job Description The Opportunity The Green Climate Fund (GCF) Framework Senior Coordinator will support the management and growth of Abt’s Green Climate Fund portfolio.

The role will coordinate consortium partners, maintain engagement with the GCF Secretariat, support bid development for framework call-downs and adjacent opportunities, and help manage Abt’s network of GCF technical experts.

The position will work closely with the Climate Specialist and Head of Business Development, as well as technical teams, commercial teams, and external partners.

Background Abt Global holds a Long-Term Agreement (LTA) with the Green Climate Fund (GCF) to deliver consultancy services under the Readiness and Project Preparation Facility frameworks.

Under this framework, Abt leads a consortium of specialised partners and technical consultants to design climate investment programmes, support policy and regulatory reforms, and prepare projects for GCF funding.

Abt’s consortium includes Climate Analytics, CrossBoundary, Pollination, and SURECO, among others, with Abt acting as the Lead Entity and primary contractual interface with the GCF.

The framework operates through competitive mini-tenders (“call-downs”), which typically require rapid bid preparation, mobilisation of technical experts, and close coordination between consortium partners, consultants, and internal teams.

To effectively manage the framework and pursue new opportunities, Abt is seeking a GCF Framework Senior Coordinator to support consortium management, business development, and tender preparation across the GCF portfolio.
