Description
Omitron is seeking a Flight Safety Analyst to join our team in Alexandria, VA.
Analysts will conduct routine screening of satellite orbits for potential safety of flight risks to orbiting satellites.
As they perform operations, they will be taught the technical complexities and processes of supporting multiple satellite constellations at the peak of U.S.
satellite technology.
These operations support all phases of the satellite life cycle from development, launch, operations, anomaly troubleshooting, passivation, and reentry.
Analysts will learn from senior scientists, mid-level engineers, and partner organizations to develop their skills and build them into members of the best spaceflight safety operations team.
Responsibilities: Train on multiple complex aerospace systems designed to screen satellite orbits for hazards.
Interface with multiple satellite constellation operators to provide information on identified hazards.
