As an Engineering Manager on the Golden Path Team in the Rider org, you will work on one of Lyft’s most critical Rider flows.

We build and iterate on rider facing products that not only ensure a seamless experience for our riders, but also aim to build and deepen rider Lyft relationships.

This is a high velocity, highly data driven, high business impact team that collaborates closely with product, design, data science, marketing and partner teams.

As the leader of this team you will shape the core Lyft rider user experience and be a thought partner with your cross-functionals to deliver business-critical initiatives.

Responsibilities: Lead a team of talented engineers who like to ship code and tackle hard engineering problems Mentor and guide the professional and technical development of your team members.

Help develop their careers and assign them to projects tailored to their skill levels, personalities, work styles, and professional goals Provide continuous feedback, address performance, and recognize the individual strengths and contributions of your team members Be a thought partner to your product counterpart to shape UX and features for your team Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners, especially your product manager, to create roadmaps and balance resourcing.
