Position Summary The Director of Communications is a newly created, high-impact role responsible for shaping AHI’s public voice, reputation, and visibility.
Reporting directly to the CEO, this position will build and lead a modern communications strategy and operating approach that elevates AHI’s leadership at the intersection of animal health, public health, and food security.
This role is ideal for a self-starter, collaborator, and strategic builder—someone who can assess current communications needs, establish a clear strategy and priorities, and implement processes and tools that strengthen AHI’s brand and influence.
The Director will serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership, partnering across the organization to ensure communications is integrated into AHI’s policy, advocacy, member engagement, and external affairs work.
