DevOps Engineer - Kubernetes at Scale 📍 Amsterdam, NL (Hybrid) 🌍 EU citizens based in the Netherlands only This role is for a DevOps / Platform Engineer who wants Kubernetes to be the product - not a side tool.

You’ll be working on the core infrastructure behind an AI-powered no-code platform used by enterprise teams.

Under the hood, this is a serious cloud-native system: distributed, security-sensitive, and built to scale.

The infrastructure team owns the platform everything runs on.

What You’ll Do Design, build, and operate production-grade Kubernetes platforms at scale Own the full Kubernetes lifecycle: provisioning, upgrades, scaling, security, and reliability Improve cluster networking, ingress, workload isolation, and service-to-service communication Enable development teams through Kubernetes-native CI/CD pipelines Implement and maintain observability across Kubernetes workloads Respond to incidents in live environments and harden the platform afterward Work closely with product and security teams to balance power, safety, and speed Core Technical Skills (Kubernetes-Focused) Strong, hands-on experience operating Kubernetes clusters in production Deep understanding of Kubernetes internals: scheduling, networking, storage, and security Experience running Kubernetes on AWS and/or Azure (managed services) Infrastructure as Code experience, preferably Terraform Container tooling experience: Docker, Helm, Kustomize CI/CD pipelines tightly integrated with Kubernetes Observability tooling for Kubernetes environments: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry Pragmatic security mindset for containerised, multi-tenant platforms What They’re Looking For 3–5+ years in DevOps, Platform, or Infrastructure roles Proven experience running live Kubernetes environments Comfortable owning reliability, upgrades, and platform evolution Experience supporting product teams without slowing them down Calm under pressure when things break - and methodical afterward Bonus Experience Multi-cluster or multi-cloud Kubernetes setups CKA / CKAD / cloud certifications Experience with internal platforms, PaaS, or developer tooling Background in fast-scaling product environments The Environment The team values ownership, strong engineering judgment, and people who understand that Kubernetes at scale is as much about design and discipline as it is about tooling.
