Database Security Analyst at J&M Group
Description
Typically, 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Information Security, or a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 2-3 years of IT experience working with Client-Server architecture (Windows/Linux Servers).
1-2 years of experience assessing database security controls using manual processes and automated tools (e.g., Imperva, IBM Guardium, Qualys).
1-2 years of experience using database activity monitoring tools (asset).
1-2 years of experience performing data discovery activities on data repositories using tools such as Imperva, IBM, Symantec, McAfee, Microsoft, Varonis, BigID, with a stronger focus on structured data repositories (databases).
1-2 years of experience configuring, managing, and supporting AWS and Azure cloud-native DB services (e.g., AWS RDS, AWS Dynamo), and/or on-premises database platforms such as Oracle, SQL, DB2, Big Data, Netezza, PostgreSQL, MongoDB (asset).
Knowledge of data protection regulatory requirements, emerging trends, and issues (asset).
Knowledge of industry-leading data protection tools and data management practices (asset).
