Akkodis is seeking a Data Engineer for a Contract with a client in New York, NY.

The ideal candidate will build and optimize end‑to‑end data pipelines and ensure high‑quality ETL processes through rigorous testing, validation, and performance monitoring.

Rate Range: $37/hour to $47/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Engineer Job Responsibilities Include Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL workflows using Python, PySpark, and GCP services like Dataflow, Dataproc, and BigQuery.

Extract, transform, and load large‑volume datasets from diverse sources while ensuring data quality, accuracy, and reliability through robust testing and validation.

Implement and optimize data ingestion and transformation processes, including writing advanced SQL/BigQuery queries for performance‑efficient data modeling.

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver high‑quality data solutions.

Manage the end‑to‑end data lifecycle—from ingestion to transformation, storage, archiving, and deletion—while adhering to cloud security and compliance standards.
