Job Title: Data Center Manager Location: Remote (US) Contract Duration: Long Term Number of Data Centers: 4 5 About the Role We are seeking an experienced Data Center Manager to oversee operations across 4 5 data centers.
This role involves coordinating with technical teams, managing migrations, decommissioning legacy infrastructure, and ensuring smooth data center transitions.
The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with DC infrastructure, server migrations, connectivity, and change management processes.
Key Responsibilities Manage operations across multiple data centers remotely.
Plan and execute rack evacuation and server decommissioning activities.
Collaborate with internal IT, infrastructure, and change management teams to ensure smooth transitions.
Oversee server migrations from one data center to another (A B) with minimal downtime.
Identify, document, and handle legacy/old assets, ensuring proper migration or decommissioning.
