MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Data and Application Platform Manager to join our team in Herndon, VA .

This is a hybrid position.

This role is responsible for the unified management and operational excellence of database and application environments.

The Data Application Platform Manager will accelerate the deployment of approved changes and updates, optimize database performance, and drive automation to reduce operational downtime.

The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise in Oracle/SQL platforms with strong application lifecycle management skills to lead modernization efforts and maintain 24x7x365 operational readiness Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To Oversee the daily operations of both database and application support teams, ensuring seamless service delivery for globally dispersed systems.

Support the transition to modernized databases and applications and assist in migration initiatives to cloud or hybrid environments.

Ensure all databases and applications meet security standards, managing remediation of vulnerabilities, patching, and compliance with information assurance policies.

Implement and manage automated maintenance tasks, diagnostic health checks, and self-learning/self-healing corrective actions to improve system resilience.
