Description
Brief Description The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that inform policy, strategy, and program decisions and will work closely with program staff and stakeholders to ensure accurate, meaningful, and accessible use of data in support of Veteran suicide prevention.
The Data Analyst, Sr.
will obtain data through advanced computerized models, extrapolate data patterns through advanced algorithms, and develop simple graphs and charts to explain how the information will influence or improve program outcomes.
Position Responsibilities Collect, clean, validate, and analyze program and policy-related data to assess the impact and effectiveness of suicide prevention initiatives Maintain and update the NSSP Dashboard and MIRECC SharePoint tracking database Conduct advanced statistical analysis and modeling to identify trends, risk factors, and areas for program improvement.
Translate technical findings into clear and concise reports, presentations, and data briefs for senior leaders and non-technical audiences.
Collaborate with program staff, analysts, and subject matter experts to integrate data into strategic planning and performance monitoring.
Support evaluation of suicide prevention activities and initiatives through data-driven methods.
Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with VA and federal data governance policies.
