Internship Overview The Chief Cyber Officer serves as the Governor's principal cyber advisor, centralizing the State's management of cybersecurity activities and leading cross-agency efforts to protect New Yorkers from increasingly prevalent and sophisticated cyber threats.

Interns in the Office of the Chief Cyber Officer are responsible for a variety of tasks supporting policy development and team operations, including: Conducting research and analysis to support policy development and key initiatives in the portfolio of the Chief Cyber Officer in collaboration with other members of the Executive Chamber.

Drafting position papers, policy memos, and correspondence.
