Summary: The Cybersecurity and Compliance Analyst ensures data privacy and regulatory adherence across the data governance framework, safeguarding sensitive data.
This role is based in Falls Church, VA with possible telework.
Responsibilities Essential Job Functions: Conduct security assessments for ata Inventory Management System (DIMS) AoA and mesh components Implement access controls and audit trails Ensure HIPAA/FISMA compliance across deliverables Monitor vulnerabilities and support risk mitigation Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge: Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks Knowledge of regulatory compliance standards Familiarity with incident response procedures and reporting Proficiency in using SIEM tools Knowledge of network security, firewalls, and endpoint protection Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
CISSP or CISM certification Mid to Senior level (4-7 years, 2+ in DoD/healthcare).
4+ years in cybersecurity/compliance Must have the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
