Onsite work is required, but some telework is possible upon government authorization.
Position Summary The Cybersecurity Analyst will support the Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) by performing a broad range of cybersecurity operational duties, including monitoring, detection, compliance, and documentation.
The analyst will work as part of the Security Operations Center (SOC) team, providing real-time threat detection and response, and assisting with vulnerability management and RMF compliance efforts.
This position supports enterprise cybersecurity objectives aligned with DoDEA and DoD policies and contributes to the safeguarding of systems, networks, and data.
Key Responsibilities Monitor and analyze cybersecurity events using SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, and other detection systems.
