This is a 12-month contract, which could be extended.

It is primarily remote with occasional onsite meetings; candidates should be in driving distance of Baltimore, MD.

The Digital Forensics Examiner is responsible for conducting forensic examinations and supporting investigations led by the Cyber Security Operations Center Incident Response Team, Corporate Human Resources, Legal, Physical Security, and other entities as designated by the CIO.

This role involves the technical collection, preservation, and analysis of digital evidence and the clear communication of findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Primary Duties & Accountabilities Conduct digital forensic examinations and investigations in support of corporate security and incident response initiatives.

Analyze and interpret data from a variety of systems to support investigations related to security incidents, acceptable use violations, insider threats, or other corporate matters.

Communicate examination findings clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders across business units.

Document findings and maintain accurate, professional case notes using the corporate incident management system.
