GRADE 13 LOCATION OF POSITION MDH - Frederick County Health Department 350 Montevue Lane Frederick, MD 21702 Main Purpose of Job This position will provide services as the Coordinator of the Safe Kids program in Frederick County which includes being a representative of the local Kids In Safety Seats (KISS) program, providing education on safety seat installation and safety seat inspections, hosting the Safe Kids Frederick County Coalition meetings in coordination with the Maternal Child Health supervisor, providing bike helmet education and distribution, and participating in outreach and other activities.
Minimum Qualifications Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
Experience: One year of administrative staff or professional work in a health care setting.
Notes Candidates may substitute 30 college credit hours from an accredited college or university for the required experience.
Candidates may substitute U.S.
Armed Forces military service experience as a commissioned officer in Health Care Administration classifications or Civil Affairs Specialist specialty codes in the health related field of work on a year-for-year basis for the required experience and education.
Desired Or Preferred Qualifications The desired candidate should be bilingual in both English and Spanish.
