The Violence Prevention and Response Technical Unit (VPRU) works to promote innovation, quality standards, direct technical assistance, and learning for protection programming across IRC’s country offices and regions.

This includes work across the streams of women’s protection and empowerment (WPE), child protection (CP), and protection rule of law (PRoL), as well as integrated protection approaches.

Case management is a fundamental part of service provision across all protection work, and one that relies on having access to comprehensive and real-time data to inform decision-making.
