Job title: PLC Engineers (Contract) – Netherlands Exciting opportunity for skilled PLC Engineers to drive innovation automation solutions and support a global digital transformation project within the Life Sciences sector.
We are seeking skilled PLC Engineers with strong Siemens expertise to deliver advanced automation solutions in the Netherlands branch of a leading pharmaceutical organisation.

You’ll be part of a high-performing automation team, contributing to the design, programming, configuration, testing, and validation of Siemens PLC systems within cutting-edge pharmaceutical manufacturing environments.
Role Responsibilities : Design, configure, program, and test Siemens PLC-based control systems Support system integration with other automation layers and manufacturing systems Troubleshoot and optimise PLC logic to improve production performance Participate in automation design workshops with vendors, site integrators, and client engineering teams Ensure compliance with global policies, regulatory requirements, and cGMP standards What We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s or master’s in electrical engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field 5+ years’ experience working with Siemens PLC platforms Experience integrating PLC systems with SCADA/MES or other Level 2 & 3 systems Strong understanding of pharmaceutical or other regulated manufacturing environments Proficiency with Microsoft tools (Excel, SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint) The Logistics: Based in the Netherlands 12-month contract, 40 hours per week Hybrid role – mainly remote with some on-site presence as needed Competitive hourly rate (depending on experience) Please email for more information: [email protected]
